As you are probably aware by now, we did not have to close as we are deemed an essential business. There is almost no chance this will change and we are planning to keep our current hours of operation see below) for the foreseeable future. We have had to make a lot of changes in the store, and in our staff, but we are up and fully operational (mostly!).
Current Conditions of the Alcohol Industry in Maryland
Generally speaking we have NO supply chain issues so far. There’s a couple temporary shortages on items like cheap vodka and boxed wines, but by and large we have plenty of equivalent items to substitute. New items, or items due to debut in this time period, have been either slow to be released, or we may have delayed our initial purchase. We simply have had other, higher priorities over the last few weeks than bringing in the latest item. This however will change in the coming weeks as we get our “new” feet under us. As always, if there is something you want us to start carrying, send us an email and I will see what I can do. I imagine many producers are delaying new product releases to later in the year, but I don’t know specifics about many products. As I said before, send me an email, and I’ll look into it.
In Store Rules, Procedures
-NO ONE UNDER 21 ALLOWED IN, if at all possible. We understand if you can’t leave a young child in the car, but we ask everyone else not making a purchase to stay outside
-This also means NO GROUPS, unless you are all making purchases. We need as few unnecessary people in the store as possible
-We are limiting it to approx 15 customers at a time. We reserve the right to make folks wait outside until someone leaves (this rarely happens FYI)
-We ask you keep distance from employees and other patrons as much as possible
-We have a more structured entry and exit (checkout) flow. Please comply
-Please try to stay behind our plexiglass barriers when buying product and lottery
Hours
Monday-Saturday: 9AM-10PM
Sunday: 11AM-7PM
Dollar Days
Dollar days is postponed for the foreseeable future. If we get back to a place of normalcy we will look to schedule a sale. That being said, the earliest we anticipate doing our next one would be our already scheduled October sale. It may very well end up being April 2021 or October 2021. It will depend on lots of factors including what guidelines are set by local and federal officials.
If you rely on our Dollar Days sale for a bulk of your yearly supply, you are welcome to email large orders to us (full case only please) and I will extend the best discounts I can. Discounts will not be as deep as our sale normally is, but I will do what I can. Large orders may take some time to put together so you will have to be patient.
Stay Safe!
Hopefully I have anticipated and answered most of your questions. We appreciate your support and understanding through all of this. Our biggest priority is the health and well being of our staff and everyone else, so please, be safe and smart for the duration of this.
