Here are the FAQs and Info about Dollar Days @HOL.
About Dollar Days:
-Sale is Sunday, October 23rd and Monday, October 24th
-Every Wine, Every Liquor is $1 Over Wholesale Cost
-Cash or Debit Card Only(You Must Use Your PIN)
-3% is Added To The Order If You Pay With Credit
-We WILL NOT give price quotes ahead of time
-You Will Not Be Called To Confirm Your Order
-RAIN-CHECKS ARE HONORED THE DAYS OF THE SALE!
For those who made Pre-Orders:
-You Must Pick Up On October 23th or October 24th
-You Will Not Be Called To Confirm Your Order
Preorders are NOT REQUIRED to take part in the sale.
We also honor rainchecks the day of the sale, in the case we are out of an item.
Products are usually in within a week.
One last thing, just to be clear:
All wine and liquor is NOT a dollar. It is at a steep discount, we only make $1 per item sold which equals to about 20% on Liquor and 30% SAVINGS on Wine if not MORE. Come on in and see the savings for the Holiday Season!
Dollar Days FAQs
1) What are your hours during Dollar Days?
Sunday we are open 11am-7pm and Monday we are open 9am-10pm.
2) What does “$1 over cost” mean?
A “$1 over cost” means that if we pay a distributor $8.72 for an item, then we charge you $9.72 during Dollar Days.
3) Is everything in the store $1 over cost?
Beer is NOT part of the sale because we often sell beer at $1 over cost already, but EVERY liquor and EVERY wine is $1 over cost. The only exceptions are a few very rare items that cannot be replaced.
4) How much money will I save?
Generally, you will save approximately 20% on liquor and 30% on wine. The more expensive the item is, the more you will save. If it’s a product we frequently have on sale, you may save less.
5) How can I find out the Dollar Days Price ahead of time?
You can’t. We will not give prices quotes ahead of time. Prices change frequently and we do not want to misquote a price. Stop in during the sale and prices will be posted.
6) How will I know how much I saved?
The tags on the shelf show the regular price and the “Dollar Days Price”. Our register receipts also show you your savings at the bottom.
7) How, when, and why do I pre-order?
Pre-ordering a product will ensure we will have what you want during the sale. Pre-orders must be for a full case of the same product. You may pre-order by calling, emailing, or stopping in.
8) What if I don’t want a full case of an item?
Then you just show up during the sale and pick bottles off the shelf.
9) What if you are out of an item I wanted?
We honor rain-checks. Tell the clerk during checkout the items you wanted and they will charge you for them. We will take down your information and call you when the order is filled.
10) Why do you charge extra to pay with a credit card?
We are only making $1 on each item and credit card companies charge us to use credit cards. We would lose money if we accepted them without passing their charge on to you.
11) What if I’m out of town during the sale?
You must make arrangements for someone to pick your orders up or do your shopping for you.
